SWBSS 2017

Die internationale Konferenz Forth International Conference on Salt Weathering of Buildings and Stone Sculptures (SWBSS) wurde vom Verein Salze im Kulturgut: Forschung - Praxis - Wissenstransfer (SIK) e.V. zusammen mit dem Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) (Brüssel) organisiert und fand vom 20. bis 22. September 2017 an der Fachhochschule Potsdam (FHP) in Potsdam statt.

Ziel der Veranstaltung war es, Konservatoren/Restauratoren, Ingenieure, Architekten, Studierende gleichwohl wie erfahrene Forscher zusammen zu bringen, um Forschung und Entwicklung auf dem Gebiet der Salzwitterung von porösen Materialien zu fördern.

Die übergeordneten Themen waren:

• Umweltaspekte im Zusammenhang mit der Herkunft von Salzen
• Transportphänomene und Salzkristallisation
• Messtechniken
• Entsalzungstechniken
• Erhaltungsprobleme
• Fallstudien
